Our tuning experts re-write your cars original software to safely optimise the characteristics you will have discussed with your KingMaps consultant, whether it be a green file for maximum economy, a blue file for a mix of power and economy or a red file for the ultimate fast road experience.

Once your software has been re-written it will be installed back on to your cars ECU we will then take your car for a test drive to make sure you are completely satisfied with the results of your custom remap. All original manufacturers data such as VIN number, serial numbers etc are exactly the same as before the remap so the changes cannot be detected by your main dealers normal means of diagnostic check .

How does it work?

The original file and data taken from your engine's ECU is instrumental in allowing us to work out your new map. Tuning boxes while ok could never achieve this degree of tailored tuning for you and your vehicle. It's important to note that every single remap performed by KingMaps is totally unique to your exact vehicle and we don't use standard generic maps that would limit the effectiveness of our tuning. To view your remap options please click here

Most vehicles from the year 2000 to 2009 can be tuned through the obd socket. The majority of vehicles later than 2009 involve more work as the ECU needs to be removed but this isn't always the case and can also be tuned through the obd socket. Please call or message us for pricing.

Popular for fuel conscious fleet owners.

This remap is designed to return an improved economy in turbo diesel engines. By re-characterising the torque limits on the engine, at lower rpm's you will benefit from additional performance and improved economy.

At higher rpm's, the software will encourage shifting up through the gearbox, to keep the engine running in its optimal window.

Our most popular remap choice.

Offering the best mix of power and economy in virtually all turbo diesel engines. Designed to de-restrict the engine by opening up the true torque and power range.

Our blue remap offers a better driving experience whilst returning an improved fuel consumption figure. If required, we can advise you on the best version of our remap for your needs.

Designed to unleash the full potential of your engine.

Our KingMaps Red remap can be installed on both petrol and diesel vehicles.

Ideally used in situations where the extra power and torque is required, for example moving extra heavy loads such as towing trailers or pulling horse boxes. Also ideal if you want to be running optimised acceleration, experiencing a wider torque window to simply enjoy your vehicle.
